About Us

The Bocker family owns Bocker Grain, Inc. in Polo, IL.  Bocker Grain is a grain elevator that was started in 1971 by Gary Bocker.  Gary’s father was a farmer, so he grew up with a farming background.  When Gary was twenty-six years old, he decided to start his own business.  While there were a lot of grain elevators back then, there was still a high demand in the market.  He started with building grain bins, a scale and an office on his father’s farm.  As time went by, Bocker Grain has grown to meet the local farmers’ needs.  We are a full service elevator that can meet your needs with marketing, drying, storage and trucking.  We appreciate your business and thank you for letting us serve you.
